Pick Patrol is a content-aggregation site. We collect the minimum data required to operate the service and we never sell user data to third parties.
From visitors who don't sign in: we collect nothing beyond what your browser sends automatically (IP address, user agent, referrer). This information appears in our web server access logs and is used to diagnose errors and detect abuse. Access logs are retained for up to 30 days.
From signed-in admin users: an HTTP-only session cookie that stores only an authentication flag, signed by our server secret. We do not store admin login passwords client-side or in plaintext.
If we enable analytics in the future, we will use a privacy-respecting product (such as Plausible) that does not use cookies and does not track visitors across sites. This page will be updated when that happens.
The picks, channels, fighters, events, and grades shown on Pick Patrol are derived from publicly accessible YouTube content and public sports-result sources. None of this data identifies individual visitors.
Our automated monitoring respects YouTube's Terms of Service. If you are a channel owner and would like your channel excluded, please contact us — see the address in our Terms.
We set a single session cookie when an admin signs in, and a CSRF token in the same session, to prevent forged form submissions. We do not set any non-essential cookies for unauthenticated visitors.
This policy may change as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on the homepage with at least 14 days' notice before taking effect.
Questions or removal requests: see the contact address in our Terms.
